Hiring a Sheet Metal Estimator for a Leading Mechanical contractor in Ontario !
Agilus is recruiting for a Sheet Metal Estimator in the Construction industry in Newmarket, Ontario.
Agilus Work Solutions is currently looking for a talented Sheet Metal Estimator to join a renowned client of ours. This Sheet Metal Estimator will get the chance to work along a larger estimating team on mid-large scale ICI projects all across the GTA.
Responsibilities:

Prepare and or assist in the quantity take off of equipment, materials, labour.
Receive, review and enter trade and supplier pricing in a detailed and organized manner.
Read and interpret large scale project drawings and bid specifications.
Prepare bid package for transfer to Purchasing upon job award.
Ensuring compliance with all client requirements, processes, and metrics.
Support Project Manager with Project coordination on all aspects of project delivery.

Successful candidates will have:

2-15 years of Sheet Metal estimation experience.
Estimating of labour, materials and equipment in the mechanical industry.
Experience working on ICI projects preferred.
experience with either Trimble Autobid, Bluebeam or Procore.
Experience with reading and interpreting large scale project drawings and bid specifications.
Knowledge of construction industry standards and codes.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Mechanical Degree preferred.
